Terms of Service — Long or Short

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Long or Short website and game (the "Service") operated by Long Or Short Tech ("we", "us", "our"), you ("you", "user") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Long or Short is a skill-based crypto prediction game available on the Solana blockchain. Players predict whether the price of a crypto asset (such as SOL, ETH, or BNB) will go up ("Long") or down ("Short") within a 30-second round.

Current Phase (Demo): During the demo phase, the Service operates with fictional balance and no real money is involved. No deposits, purchases, or cash-outs are available.

Future Phase (Token): In a future update, wagering may be conducted using the $LOS token. Any such feature will be subject to additional terms and applicable laws, which we will publish before activation.

3. Eligibility

To use the Service, you must:

Be at least 18 years of age, or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction;
Not be located in, or a resident of, any jurisdiction where participation is prohibited by law;
Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

It is your responsibility to ensure that your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

4. Nature of the Game

Long or Short is a game of skill and market analysis. It is not a game of chance, gambling, or a financial service. No financial advice is provided, and no outcome should be construed as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset.

5. Wallet Connection

Access to the Service requires connecting a compatible Solana wallet (currently Phantom). By connecting your wallet, you confirm that you own or lawfully control that wallet.

We never request, store, or have access to your private keys or seed phrase. All wallet interactions require your explicit approval.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose;
Attempt to exploit, manipulate, or interfere with the Service;
Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to gain unfair advantage;
Impersonate another user or entity;
Upload or transmit any malicious code or content.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these rules.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any defects will be corrected. We are not responsible for the accuracy of third-party price data (including Binance market data) used by the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Long Or Short Tech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, game design, and software associated with the Service are the property of Long Or Short Tech or its licensors, and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

10. Modifications to the Service and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time.

Material changes will be announced on the Service. Your continued use after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
